The Sheriff of Hollywood Hills

The Sheriff of Hollywood Hills (השריף מגבעות הוליווד) was a three-episode English-teaching mini-series from Israeli Instructional Television, first aired in 1974 and repeated into the mid-1980s.

Its comic plot is set in 1937 around a crew filming a cheap Western: Sheriff Goodman (Irving Kaplan), Burton Badman, Miss Dingdong and Deputy Doolittle, plus the film's director.

Each episode taught a different group of English verb patterns (sentences with two verbs). Theme music: Yakety Sax.
