Nikuy Rosh

Nikuy Rosh ("Head Cleaning") was the second satire show on Israeli television, aired on Channel 1 from May 1974 to March 1976 - two seasons and 32 episodes - when that was the only Israeli channel, so it had a large public impact.

Moti Kirschenbaum created, produced and edited the program; Yaakov Assal directed.

The cast included Tuvia Tzafir, Rivka Michaeli, Aliza Rosen, Aharon Almog, Shabtai Konorti, Sefi Rivlin and others.

Animation was created by, among others, Dudu Geva, Yossi Abulafia and Yochanan Lekitzewitz.

Episodes mixed topical satire after the Yom Kippur War with lighter parody, hidden-camera bits, and animated inserts.
